The Honeywell Center in Wabash, IN accepted local photography on October 4th and 5th for their current exhibit: Photography Show. This exhibit will be featured in the Clark Gallery, which is located in the main lobby of the Honeywell Center, from October 14-November 14. There were three categories that entrants could submit work for: black and white, color, and altered. Once the photographs were submitted for the show, a committee came through and gave awards for Best in Show as well as the best photos from each category.
Commercial Account Officer Michael Belcher and Teller Susan Reynolds, both employees at FFBT, entered photos into the show and their pieces were accepted! Michael submitted two photos, one in the color category and one in the altered category, which won first place and was entitled Tranquility. Susan entered one piece in the Altered category entitled The Alley.
It seems, though, that Michael isn't the only one in his family that has an eye for photos: his daughter, Lauren, also submitted two pieces into the color category, entitled JELLYFISHing I and JELLYFISHing II. The first photo won Honorable Mention.
Both Michael's and Lauren's photographs are available for sale and can be purchased at the Honeywell Center Box Office from 8:00-5:00 Monday-Friday. Admission is free.
